Alex Dimitrov is the author of five books of poems including the upcoming Alone at the Gates, as well as Another American Summer, a forthcoming novel. A second Astro Poets book, co-written with Dorothea Lasky, will also be published by Harper Collins.

His work has appeared and been reviewed in The New York Times, The New Yorker, The Paris Review, and other publications. He teaches poetry at Columbia University.
